Muscle Activation Techniques

I had a nice week of working out and was quite sore this morning. We went to the track and did some speed work with the kids (ie we had fun racing). I felt a little bit of pain in my hip and I’ve been looking at Prime Fitness’ Hybrid Multi-Hip machine for some time. I was researching it today and binge watched a couple of Bryson’s videos on Muscle Activation Technique. The founder gave a very nice interview/presentation to GQ and I ended up ordering his book. I really like the concept of building from the core and working on opposing muscle groups/movements to create a balanced/dynamic athlete.

My top end swing speed is 122mph and I can hit the golf ball around 320. My accuracy at these speeds and distances is not great so I have to aim for the 280 distance to get some semblance of control. The question is if I work more on rotational core strength and combine this with more speed training (ie practice!) can I keep these long balls in the fairway. Plus will the hybrid multi hip machine plus some focused hip strengthening exercise help this right hip?
